News and Events

YMCA 8th Annual Banquet

In 1923, the YMCA had its humble local beginnings in offices loaned from City Hall. Today, the Hodding Carter Memorial YMCA boasts over 40,000 square feet of building space on 12 acres of land with over 3300 members. Come celebrate the success of the organization with a special banquet. Featured speaker will be the new YMCA CEO (to be announced in January). Tis special event also features the "State of the Y" report, and the unveiling of the YMCA Volunteer of the Year.

Holiday Joining Fee Special

Reduced joining fee effective through December 31
$50-Family or Adult Membership
$25-Youth Membership.

Cotton Classic

The Hodding Carter Memorial YMCA hosts the Annual Cotton Classic 10K Run/5K Walk/1 Mile Fun Run.

Monday-Friday 8:00-10:00 am
Monday-Thursday 5:30-7:30 pm

Christmas Eve: OPEN 7-10am
Christmas Day: CLOSED
New Years Eve: OPEN 5:00am-9:00pm
New Years Day: CLOSED

Locker Renewal

Deadline January 15, 2012, to ensure the same locker. All contents removed from lockers after January 15, 2012. The cost is $18 per year.
